Succulent Planters

I LOVE how these turned out. They are exactly what I had hoped for and imagined. SO exciting when that happens! I made the pots and potted the plants! If you are in Greenville, SC, on March 2, 2012, please join us on Pendleton Street for First Friday!  I'll be there and I can't wait!

In other news, I've just really been enjoying life lately. You get two choices in life: you can either make the best of life, or wish away your life. It's human nature to do the second, but find ways to accomplish the first. I find for myself that when I am most satisfied with life it is because I'm doing something for someone else. Try it! It will put a smile on your face.

Lately...

Things have been a little quite lately here on the blog. So sorry about that! I have been busy getting things ready for my show on March 2. On the first Friday's of every month, many art studios open up their doors and let us get a peek into their lives and art. Elizabeth Blanton, owner of Yellow Elm, is kindly letting me be her guest artist this month! I am beyond excited!!!

For those of you who are wondering, I will have several pieces of pottery, some hip beaded earrings, and some really cool pottery necklaces. I am especially excited about my tiny succulent planters! (I told you I was obsessed with succulents). I'm really pleased with how these are turning out. Not only do they come with a virtually impossible plant to kill (no green thumb needed!), they are planted in tiny wheel thrown pots I made! Succulents are just the coolest little plant.

I hope to see all your beautiful smiling faces there!!
