T H A N K S G I V I N G

WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR? I had a little extra time today so I made a list of just a few things I am thankful for. I think I may just do this every week. It's easy to be so negative day in and day out. It's good to stop and reflect on what we have to be thankful for. So here goes....

1. My car. I love my car. even though the driver's seat heater doesn't work :( hey, at least I have heat! It's the best car ever and even has a name...Bad Ronald.
2. Money from my job. You know, I may not be in love with my job, but at least I have an income!
3. Clothes. Thank goodness I don't have to go around without any.
4. Food. I'm thankful I can eat every single day.
5. Friends. I don't know how I would get through life sanely without them.
6. Coworkers. I have several AMAZING coworkers. I get my zen on with them.
7. My family. Especially my grandparents. I get to see them more now since they've moved south.
8. Dreams. They give you something to look forward to in life.
9. My wheel and kiln. Yep! Can't wait to start using it!
10. God. He's got my life under control.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Crafty Christmas--Paper Ball Ornaments

It's almost The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year. I know it's a little early (before thanksgiving) to be getting ready for Christmas, but I'm just so excited about all the decorations I am making to adorn everything from presents to trees. From now until Christmas I'm going to be giving you a little peak into my handcrafted Christmas.

One thing you need to know about me is that I am a paper lover. I love pretty paper! As a result, I have a bunch of scraps just hanging out in my house.
I discovered these amazing paper ball ornaments and they are so easy to make! I pulled out some of my paper, cut it up, and whipped up these little cuties.
They are tied together with some fabric. These little ornaments will be decorating my gifts these year. It makes me so excited to be giving presents :)
